Lisa A. DeRoché

Vice President Human Resources

Lisa A. DeRoché joined Brightpoint Health as Vice President of Human Resources in March, 2015.  She is responsible for promoting, recruiting and retaining the best qualified talent, as well as recognizing and encouraging the value of diversity in the workplace.  While Lisa ensures we are providing a competitive salary and benefits package, she is equally focused on developing the full potential of our talent by providing training and development for their career enhancement. It is her goal to provide a work atmosphere that is safe, healthy and focused on wellness with team, personal and community goals in mind. She encourages teams to establish, administer and effectively communicate policies and practices that treat employees with dignity and respect. Lisa also looks to develop opportunities to collaborate with the various work functions in a fun and inclusive manner, taking into account the diversity of positions, locations and interests within our growing organization.Lisa has been in Human Resources for the past 20 years.  Most recently, she was the Director of Human Resources at a health care organization working with underserved communities.  She led the Human Resources Business Partner Function that was responsible for delivering HR solutions and initiatives for the statewide population of 2400 employees. Prior to her roles in health care, Lisa spent 15 years at a global life insurance and annuity company as the Sr. Director and Head of the HR Business Partner team for Wealth Management.  With her varied background in both the commercial and nonprofit sectors, Lisa has become highly skilled in building relationships and coaching in the areas of talent management, retention strategies, culture and organizational effectiveness.Lisa is a member of the Women’s Bond Club where she mentors the Valedictorian of the Urban Assembly School for Young Women in downtown NYC as well as mentoring many varied professionals in her role as a senior leader of Human Resources.Lisa has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from SUNY Old Westbury and a Masters in Business Management from Dowling College both located on Long Island.Lisa is married, has five children and owns a small takeout restaurant in Oceanside with her husband.
