Dr. Khaw joined Brightpoint Health in December, 2015 as Director of Pediatrics. He was previously Medical Director for Montefiore's Medical Center's New York Children's Health Project located in the South Bronx, having been affiliated with Montefiore in various capacities, including leading the Childhood Asthma Initiative, from 2010 through 2015. His experience also includes providing medical relief after Hurricane Katrina in 2005 and in Haiti after the 2010 earthquake.

 Dr. Khaw earned his Bachelors from Emory University in Atlanta and graduated cum laude with an M.D. degree from Morehouse School of Medicine. He completed his pediatrics residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami, South Florida's major safety-net medical facility, where he was awarded the prestigious Arnold P. Gold Foundation Humanism in Medicine Award. A music major and accomplished pianist, Dr. Khaw lives in Brooklyn where he still enjoys playing the piano as well as running, and exploring nature.
